Top five places to visit in the Cotswolds

The Cotswolds is a really popular place for visitors to the UK to visit as well as with people travelling within the UK. The quaint cottages, tea rooms, antique shops and pretty surrounding countryside make for a very picturesque visit. However, there are many choices of places to visit in the Cotswolds. Below are our top five:

This is a quaint village with a river running through it. The pretty cottages line narrow streets with grass verges and the river running through. It is very pretty and there are also attractions too. There is Birdland, the Motor Museum and the Model Village, which are all fun to visit. There are also some lovely shops, tea rooms and cafes, so you can take your pick as to whether you have fish and chips, a cream tea or anything else typically British to eat.

This is on the edge of the Cotswolds but is so popular with visitors as it is Shakespeare’s birthplace. You can visit his home, go to the theatre and see a Shakespeare play, take an open top bus tour of the area and enjoy the shops and cafes. Many have a nod to Shakespeare including selling mementos.
