For those who want a change of scene and are interested in exploring the area further the pretty town of Rethymnon, Crete’s 3rd largest town is only 10km away. This is a popular place to visit for tourists and locals alike with its traditional architecture of white washed buildings and winding streets, the buzz of the open air markets and plenty of interesting shops and taverns waiting to be explored. Chania airport is approx 65km away and Heraklion airport is approx 73km.
