Set at the centre of its own gardens, the hotel occupies a special location at the heart of the city between the famous temples at Luxor (approx 1km away) and Karnak (approx 3km away) and overlooking the Nile itself. The closest major urban centre, the Bazar Area, is approx 5km away.

The "Gorna restaurant" is open daily serving American buffet style breakfast (05:30 to 10:30hrs) and buffet dinner (18:30 to 22:30rs), there is also the "Dakka" Italian restaurant (13:00 to 16:00hrs) and in the evening (18:30 to 22:30hrs). “Le Flamboyant” gourmet restaurant is open in the evening for A la Carte service (18:30 to 22:30hrs).
