Introduction

On Holiday Group was formed in early 2004 by travel industry veterans

• Steve Endacott, former deputy chief executive of MyTravel / Airtours
• Bill Allen, former group purchasing director of MyTravel / Airtours
• Brian Young, former sales director of Cosmos Group.

Together, the On Holiday Group management team has over 60 years' experience in the travel business. Our mission is to create cheaper, more flexible holidays for our customers by offering great accommodation at the best prices with the flexibility and low prices provided by offering ALL the UK's leading low cost carriers and charter operators within one site.

This company offers traditional 7 and 14 night package holidays including flights, transfers, accommodation and in resort representation in the holiday accommodation featured by the major tour operating brands. More about our founders

Steve, with three young boys and a demanding wife, understands the importance of getting holiday choices just right! And as a 16 year veteran of the travel industry, he's got few excuses.

Steve has enjoyed a high profile career at directorship level in some of the UK's largest tour operating groups since the age of 25 (A long time ago!).

A career spanning Financial controller of International Leisure Group to Deputy Chief Operating Officer of Mytravel Plc has seen Steve hold directorship over finance, yield management, marketing, contracting, overseas operations and sales, as well as latterly being Group MD UK Tour Operations and Distribution, responsible for Airtours, Panorama Direct Holidays and Going Places at Mytravel.

Unusually, Steve has also had an entrepreneurial career having started and built a number of businesses, including call centre retailer Holidays by Phone and technology company Click With Technology Ltd from scratch.

It is this combination of tour operating, high street retail, call centre and technology experience that has shaped the vision of dynamic packaging that the On Holiday Group plans to develop in partnership with the UK retail trade.

Bill has worked in the travel industry for over 15 years. Before setting up On Holiday Group with Steve he spent 9 years with MyTravel, where he was the Overseas Purchasing Director for MyTravel UK. Bill was responsible for the purchasing and delivery of the overseas hotel accommodation, transportation, car hire and excursion product for all of the UK charter brands including Airtours Holidays, Panorama, Manos and Direct Holidays.

Bill has extensive experience of sourcing and negotiating accommodation contracts in all of the major tourist destinations popular with the UK holiday market. It is Bill's experience and range of international contacts that provide the extensive selection of product you will find on our site.

Prior to joining forces with Bill and Steve to set up the On Holiday Group, Brian held directorial positions with Cosmos Holidays, both as overseas director and sales director. Brian's career in the travel industry has spanned 17 years, starting as a holiday rep in 1988 and progressing to overseas regional manager for Thomas Cook before returning to the UK as overseas director for Cosmos Holidays.

Having been involved in dynamic packaging from its very beginning, Brian can rightly claim to have been instrumental in the growth of the sector, which is rapidly transforming the way people buy holidays and giving them a better product at a better price. Married with two boys, Brian appreciates as much as anyone the value of this alternative to the "one size fits all" package holiday.
